台北 吳名麻辣 Wu Ming Spicy Hotpot Taipei

IG上看到吳名麻辣深受年輕人歡迎,好友剛好在台北想吃麻辣鍋,訂好桌去造訪。
Wu Ming Ma La (Spicy Hotpot) is a newly popular restaurant among the youngsters, my best friend was in Taipei and wanted to eat spicy hotpot. I chose to visit here with her and my another friend from Hong Kong.

店在通化街巷弄內,我是坐捷運到信義安和站再看Google Maps到店的,地圖位置正確。地方不大,只有五張桌子,整個用餐過程都很舒適乾淨,這點我很欣賞。
It’s inside the lanes at Tonghua Street. The environment is clean and comfortable. The place is not big, only 5 tables inside.

用餐採固定餐單,每位700NT不加一 (飲料、加點另計)。有水、烏龍茶無限供應。醬料不多,只有蒜苗、白醋跟醬油。小菜有豆干跟豆芽。
They have set menu, 700NT each. Water and tea are unlimited filled. Not much seasonings, only white vinegar and soy sauce. The appetizers are rather tasteless…

鴛鴦湯頭,紅湯是大骨湯頭,加上豆瓣醬還有四川大紅袍花椒及魔鬼椒,用上72小時煮成。湯頭有牛骨與豬骨兩款,上桌的時候店員預先為我們選了牛骨。白湯是豬骨蘿蔔湯
Duo soup base. Red side is spicy one, can choose ox bone or pork bone, the staff have us ox bone one. They claimed they cooked the soup for 72 hours. White one is radish with pork bone.

菜單上有寫他們不加入太多的中藥和辛香料,本身期待的是能喝到味道好的大骨湯頭,但當晚所嚐到的湯頭味道非常淡,沒甚麼大骨所熬煮出來的回甘湯頭。可能我在香港生活久了,喝到的大骨湯跟這裡的非常不一樣,味道豐富多了,喝不習慣吧,而湯頭是火鍋的靈魂,我和朋友都覺得沒味道,蠻失望的
Their menu wrote they don’t put Chinese medicine or other irrelevant spices. I expected the soup base was very rich in flavor, but turned out the soup base was very thin and tasteless. To be honest I was very disappointed.

湯頭還有鴨血、豆皮、油條跟凍豆腐。雖然覺得湯頭沒有味道,但這裡的鴨血非常好吃,很入味也嫩。
Soup base also included duck blood, bean sheets, fried dough sticks and cold beancurds. Even though the soup was tasteless, their duck blood were delicious! Succulent and tender with flavorful Sichuan pepper aroma.

四寶的牛筋、牛肚、豬肚和大腸頭本身的滷水味道吃得出來,加上麻辣鍋中的麻辣味道還不錯。
Soy braised beef tendon, tripes, pig stomach and intestines. The soy braised taste went well with the Sichuan pepper and chili inside the soup.

當晚最喜歡的火鍋配料除了鴨血,還有他們自己做的手工蛋餃,每件都費手工去煎蛋皮,味道亦富蛋香。我也喜歡澎湖花枝丸手工豬肉丸也不錯,樸實的炸豬肉丸。
Besides duck blood, their housemade egg skin dumplings were good, squid balls were tasty too, pork balls were ababe average, homey housemade pork balls.

美國PRIME無骨雪花牛。店員話說太快也聽不到是牛的哪一部份。肉質還好,牛肉的肉香比較淡一點,由於我們覺得湯頭沒味道,要一直沾醬油跟醋吃。台灣頂級松香豬、紐澳草飼雪花羊。這兩款肉比較好,羊肉能吃到其肉味,豬也不錯,比牛肉還要好吃。Beef, pork and lamb slices were so-so, nothing is above average.

蔬菜盤,似乎每天供應都未必一樣,網上看到的有不同,份量很多,高麗菜、玉米筍、菇菌類,本身食材新鮮,所以吃得到菜本身的味道。Veggies were fresh, I like the baby corns and cabbage.

最後的手工拉麵,拉麵本身做得很不錯,可惜湯頭沒甚麼味道,也沒有很喜歡吃。The noodles were chewy but with tasteless soup, we don’t like the taste.

個人感受跟喜好而言,我不喜歡吳名麻辣的麻辣鍋,主要是鍋底問題,還有店員服務問題。我們之後有點汽水,店員竟然顧著玩手機也沒有把汽水送給我們,他做介紹的時候說話說太快,尤其是我朋友不是台灣人,覺得他做服務的時候有點不太誠懇。台北好吃的麻辣鍋太多了,外面有更多更好的選擇。
I don’t like the soup and the service here. Soup base was too thin, the server was playing his phone more than we did. There’re a lot of spicy Hotpot in Taipei, to me I won’t visit here again.
