高雄人氣日式炸牛排店逸之牛,開業到現在一直人潮不斷,聽說假日的時候開店前半小時就有人排隊了。店就在美麗島站老江紅茶的斜對面,出發去墾丁前在高雄,特地來吃炸牛排,過了用餐時間,下午一點多到訪,前面還有一組客人等位子。
IS beef Kaohsiung is a popular restaurant in town recently, famous for their beef cutlet. During weekends people start queuing up before IS beef opens. I was in Kaohsiung before going to Kenting last 2 weeks, came here for the famous beef cutlet. Located opposite to Lao Jiang Black tea at Formosa Boulevard MRT station. We arrived there around 1pm, and there was another group of customers still waiting for their table.

點了三個小菜,食材新鮮,特別喜歡月見山藥泥,把牛肉沾進山藥泥為牛肉增加黏滑質感。

炸霜降牛排定食 Beef Cutlet Set (超值重磅 538NT)
一般份量是358NT,這裡是一般份量的兩倍,定食還有來自花東米倉的關山米、菜絲跟湯。菜絲跟飯是可以無限添加的,關山米Q軟有米香,我們添了菜跟飯來配牛肉吃。

牛肉炸至三分熟,吃時可放在熱的鐵盤上再煎熱及煎到自己喜歡的熟度。炸層酥脆,肉味也濃,難怪會受歡迎呢!個人是偏愛生一點的牛肉,所以我沒有煎太久就吃了。

灸煎牛排丼 pan fried steak bowl rice 318NT
可能是炸牛排太出色,相比之下灸煎沒有炸牛排的好吃,還有菜絲放在牛肉跟飯中間會比菜絲悶軟。牛肉其實也軟嫩好吃,旁邊的醬汁拌白飯味道亦好,但我會推薦炸牛排定食多一點。

炸牛排比灸煎牛排好吃,定食亦比丼飯好。他們的二店會在17年11月開,食客們可有多一個地點選擇去吃。
I like their beef cutlet, crunchy and tasty. Beef cutlet is better than pan fried steak, set meal is better than their rice bowl. Their second store will be opened in Fall 2017 and this will offer gastronomes another spot to IS beef.
